She further highlighted that pricing pressure in India is expected to remain elevated, primarily due to the country’s young and value-conscious user base, which has a lower average purchasing power compared to developed nations. Entering 2026, ChatGPT maintained its clear market leadership in India, reporting 180 million monthly active users in January, according to Sensor Tower.
